WooCommerce crypto payments

Add crypto as a payment gateway on your WooCommerce store and get paid in USDT, USDC or BTC — straight to your own wallet, verified on-chain. Works on classic and Blocks checkout and is HPOS-ready. The buyer pays on a secure StableDeliver checkout, we verify the payment on-chain, and WooCommerce marks the order complete and fulfils it as usual. Non-custodial: we never hold your funds.

How it works

1. 1. Install the free WooCommerce plugin from WordPress.org and enable the Pay with Crypto gateway.
2. 2. In your StableDeliver dashboard add a wallet and pick your default receiving asset and network — if you hold wallets on more than one network and no default is set, checkout can't tell which one to charge in and will refuse to create the order.
3. 3. Paste your StableDeliver API key into the gateway settings and save. The plugin registers its own webhook and fills in the signing secret for you — nothing to copy by hand. Your store must be on HTTPS at a publicly reachable address; we never deliver webhooks to plain HTTP or to a private address, so a staging site will leave orders pending.
4. 4. At checkout the buyer pays USDT / USDC / BTC on the hosted StableDeliver checkout. We verify the exact on-chain transfer.
5. 5. On confirmation, WooCommerce completes the order and runs your normal fulfilment (emails, downloads, license keys). Every webhook is signed (HMAC-SHA256) and checked against your order total, so a forged or stale one can never complete an order.

What we tested, and what it did

This is our own integration run against a clean WordPress install on 24 October 2026 — not customer data, and not a case study. We publish it so you can check the claims above against something specific before installing anything.

• • Versions. WordPress 7.1.3 with WooCommerce 11.2.1, PHP 8.3, plugin 1.2.1.
• • High-Performance Order Storage on. With HPOS enabled, WooCommerce listed the plugin as compatible, and orders were read and written through the HPOS tables.
• • Both checkouts. The gateway registered on the classic checkout and on the Blocks checkout, and was available in each.
• • The amount charged. A two-item order of $12.34 each came to $24.68, and the checkout asked for 24.703925 USDT on Tron — the order total converted at the rate when the order was created, with a unique sub-cent ending so the payment can be matched to that order and no other.
• • Webhook refusals. A tampered signature and a four-thousand-second-old timestamp were both rejected with HTTP 401. A webhook claiming $19.99 against a $24.68 order was held for review, not completed. A replayed event was de-duplicated.
• • Fulfilment. On the genuine event the order moved to completed, the transaction hash was stored against it, and WooCommerce granted the customer a working download permission.

One thing we did not test end to end: delivery of a live webhook across the public internet to a third-party store. Our test site was private, and StableDeliver refuses to send webhooks to a private address — which is the same guard that protects your store. The signing and the receiving were each exercised; the hop between them was not.

Before you install

• • A default receiving asset and network in your StableDeliver dashboard. With wallets on more than one network and no default chosen, order creation is refused — there is no single answer to which coin to charge in.
• • Your store on HTTPS at a publicly routable address. Webhooks are never delivered to plain HTTP or to a private address, so a staging site leaves orders pending.
• • A store currency of USD. On any other currency the gateway hides itself at checkout rather than charge a converted amount.
• • A free account. The Free plan covers 10 fulfilled orders a month and is never billed; paid plans start at $9/month, bought 3, 6 or 12 months up front in USDT.
